What do I need to make an appointment?

You don't need a referral to make an appointment.

However, to get a Medicare rebate we suggest you speak to your GP to get a Mental Health Treatment Plan. A Mental Health Treatment Plan will entitle you to Medicare rebates for up to 20 sessions per year.

Your GP will initially give you a Treatment Plan for 6 sessions, after which you can see them to extend the plan.

How do I get there by car?

We are located at 8 Elizabeth MacArthur Drive, Bella Vista. The building is called 'The Bond'. There is free underground parking available for 2 hours. We are on Level 3 inside Sydney Health Connections.

Take a T-way bus to this stop: Norbrik, North West Twy. 
From the bus stop, our clinic is a 10 minute walk. We are located at 8 Elizabeth Macarthur Drive, Bella Vista. We are on Level 3 inside Sydney Health Connections.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

For the first appointment, please bring:

The referral letter from your GP, paediatrician, or psychiatrist 
The mental health treatment plan (if you have one) and Medicare card

What should I expect for my first appointment?

Accepted Answer

It's normal to feel nervous before your first appointment. Our job is to help you feel comfortable and ask you questions to understand your goals. We will have a conversation with you to understand your story and your goals and challenges. At the end of the first session, you will receive some strategies to get you started towards your personalised goals.
