Types of therapy
CBT:
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) allows us to examine the relationship between situations and our thoughts and feelings. We can reframe our thinking and learn to take active steps to overcome our challenges. CBT is widely used for anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD and bipolar disorder. I work with active and veteran ADF personnel, police and civilians experiencing trauma and provide trauma-focused CBT for PTSD. I also offer CBT (Cool Kids individual program) for children and adolescents with anxiety or depression.

Schema Therapy:
Do you find yourself having the same types of issues over time? This could be in your work or in your relationships. Schema therapy helps us to understand the patterns we fall into and helps us to find a healthier way to live.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy:
When faced with a chronic health condition or an issue which needs to managed long term, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps us to stay focused on our values and goals, use mindfulness and make committed actions towards our goals.
